I really appreciated the guidance and support I received throughout the internship. Even though it was remote, the team was always approachable and willing to help. Whenever I had questions or needed clarification, someone was there to walk me through it without making me feel lost or overwhelmed. The feedback I got helped me improve not just technically, but also in how I documented and presented my findings. Overall, the support made the experience smoother, more engaging, and much more valuable than I expected. What I enjoyed most about the internship was the hands-on experience with real penetration testing tools like Kali Linux, Nmap, and Metasploit. Getting to apply what I’d learned in a practical environment—while working with a supportive and diverse team—really boosted my confidence. I also enjoyed learning how to communicate technical findings clearly in reports, which is a skill I’ll carry into any future role. This internship helped me grow both personally and professionally. It improved my problem-solving, taught me how to work independently in a remote setting, and gave me insight into the kind of work I want to pursue in cybersecurity. It confirmed my interest in ethical hacking and gave me a strong foundation for future certifications and roles in the field.

This internship not only deepened my understanding of marine mammal ecology but also clarified my aspiration to explore a career in wildlife. It also enhanced my research capabilities while equipping me with real-world experience in cross-cultural collaboration, remote research, and science communication. This experience gave me practical skills and helped me define my career path - applying animal science in real conservation work and taking action to build a better future for wildlife.
